This project was inspired by my trip to Latvia this summer. Every four years, there is a huge Latvian Song and Dance festival where choir and dance teams from all over the country gather to perform together. This year there were about 40k participants. It’s one of the most moving things I’ve ever experienced. The crown seen in this project is called Kurzemes vainags which I slightly modernized and recreated in the digital space. 

To create this project, I used Adobe Substance 3D Collection. One of my favorite pars of this project was creating textures from my watercolor studies in Sampler. Here is a little video about this process : )
